Which platform should we use?
Xero suits most small service businesses, QuickBooks works well for sole traders and simpler operations, and Sage tends to fit businesses with stock or more complex requirements. We recommend based on your transactions and reporting needs.
How long does setup take?
A straightforward setup takes a few days. A migration with historic data and open balances takes two to four weeks.
What is included in an accounting software setup?
The agreed setup can cover the chart of accounts, tax settings, bank feeds, user access, invoice templates and opening balances. We confirm the configuration and handover steps before the system goes into routine use.
Is software setup the same as migrating an existing system?
No. Setup configures a platform for use. Moving transaction history, open items and balances from another platform is a separate system-migration project with reconciliation and cutover work.
